HOW IT HAPPENED:

1-0 HC (1st – 4:59, PP): On a five-on –three power play, Spencer Trapp fired a slap shot from the center point after Peter Crinella and Logan Ferguson worked the puck behind the net. Trapp’s shot went just under the cross bar.

2-0 HC (1st – 6:23, PP): Again from the center point, Trapp let go of a slapshot to beat Army’s Trevin Kozlowski through a screen. Crinella and Ferguson picked up assists on the goal.

2-1 Army (1st - 13:01, EV): Rushing into the offensive zone, Alex Wilkinson sent a low hard shot to ring off the post and past Erik Gordon.

3-1 HC (2nd – 2:19, PP): Dalton Skelly chipped the puck off the wall to Peter Crinella at the offensive blue line. The senior forward circled the zone and deked around two defenders to wrist a shot from the slot through traffic.

3-2 Army (2nd – 3:23, SH): Taylor Maruyna rushed in on Gordon on a breakaway.

3-3 Army (2nd – 6:48, PP): Dominic Franco tipped in Zach Evanchuck’s point shot on the power play.

4-3 HC (2nd – 17:42, EV): Ferguson fed Trapp as they rushed over the offensive blue line. Trapp slowed down the play and passed across the zone to Kevin Darrar, who walked into a one-time slap shot.
