Crusaders Finish 16th at Boston College Intercollegiate
CANTON, Mass. – Junior Jackie Gonzalez finished in a tie for 67th place as an individual, as the Holy Cross women’s golf team placed 16th in the Boston College Intercollegiate at the Blue Hill Country Club. Gonzalez totaled 245 strokes over three rounds to finish at 29-over par, including a 77 in Tuesday’s final round.
Sophomore Emily Rodricks tied for 81st place overall with 261 strokes, while sophomore Lauren Schonewolf placed 84th with 265 strokes. Junior Maddy Belden placed 86th with a score of 273, and freshman Mary Anne Wiley finished 88th with a 284.
Western Kentucky won the team title with a three-round total of 911 strokes, while Holy Cross totaled 1,044 strokes. Mary Joiner of Western Kentucky and Jodee Tindal of the College of Charleston tied for the individual crown after finishing at four-over par (220 strokes).
The Crusaders return to action when they take part in the Williams Fall Classic at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass., from Sept. 29-30.
