Campagna leads men's cross country at UMass Dartmouth Invite

­DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s cross country team finished 17th out of 36 varsity teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Results

RESULTS:

  • Senior Alex Campagna was the top finisher for Holy Cross on the men’s side, placing 69th in a time of 27:22.18 on the five-mile course.
  • Freshman Jack Welch ran a time of 27:56.54 to place 91st.
  • Sophomore Connor McNerney was 103rd, clocking in at 28:12.43.
  • Junior Joe Doerr was 148th in a time of 29:06.11.
  • Freshman Gray Nichols placed 165th, running a time of 29:39.62.
  • Freshman Michael O’Brien rounded out the Crusader contingent with a 167th-place finish in a time of 29:43.04.

  • Holy Cross will next compete at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa., on Oct. 5.
