Cross Country Announces 2019 Schedule
Holy Cross head cross country coach Jim Kavanagh has announced his team’s meet schedule for the 2019 season. Both the men’s and women’s teams will compete in six meets prior to the Patriot League Championship and NCAA Northeast Regional in November.
The Crusaders will open the season on Aug. 31, joining Providence College in a meet at the University of New Hampshire. The next weekend, Holy Cross will send competitors to the Nassaney Invitational, hosted by Bryant University, on Sept. 7.
Select competitors will race at the National Catholic Invitational on Sept. 20, while others will run at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 21.
Holy Cross will open its October slate with a visit to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Run on Oct. 5. The following weekend, the Crusaders head to Boston for the New England Championships on Oct. 12.
Colgate will host the Patriot League Championship on Nov. 2. Holy Cross will then head to the NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 15.
