Varda of Men's Tennis Named ITA Scholar-Athlete
WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Michael Varda of the Holy Cross men’s tennis team was named a 2019 International Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete, as announced by the ITA Thursday.
A student-athlete must earn at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA to receive scholar-athlete recognition. A team can also earn ITA All-Academic Team honors if it maintains a team GPA of at least 3.20.
In total, 735 teams and 4,328 student-athletes were honored across all divisions, both men and women. To see the full DI men’s list, click here.
