Women's Soccer to Participate in Open Training Week

Holy Cross Athletics   03-25-2019

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross women’s soccer head coach Casey Brown has announced the team’s participation in the Spring 2019 Open Training Week. The Crusaders will be hosting an open training session on Monday, April 1 from 1:45-3:30 p.m.

The purpose of the week, which runs from April 1 - 7, is to encourage coaches to attend other local sessions to see, learn, and share training tips and techniques.

“As a board we are happy to once again support Open Training Week,” United Soccer Coaches president Jeff Farnsworth said. “The opportunity for coaches across the country to be able to share ideas and learn from their peers within the sport is one that we hope all coaches take advantage of. It’s a great way for coaches to network, build visibility for their programs and be plugged in to their local coaching communities. Open Training Week has experienced continued growth over the first couple of years and we’re hopeful that it continues to grow as more and more coaches and programs take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to share their knowledge and ideas.”

The Crusaders are currently in the middle of their spring schedule with their next game to be played on March 30 against Fairfield.
