WORCESTER, Mass. - The Crusaders return to Kuzniewski Field for the first time since the season opener to host #18 Army West Point on March 16 at 12:00 p.m.  The game will be streamed on NESNplus as well as the Patriot League Network. 

Parking Advisory
• This Saturday, in addition to our game against Army (12:05 p.m.), Holy Cross will be hosting the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) girls and boys state basketball tournaments at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Please be aware that these events will impact the parking outside the Hart Center. Additional parking is available in the Hogan Campus Center lot or inside the Parking Garage near Fitton Field.
Quick Sticks
• The Crusaders’ last outing was a tight back-and-forth game with Bucknell. Holy Cross fell, 10-7, in their second Patriot League outing. 
Kevin Kodzis and Sean Mullaney each lead the team with 13 goals and five assists for 18 points. 
• Mullaney has recorded three-consecutive hat tricks. He has added two five-point performances in his last three games played. 
• Holy Cross’ defense is led by Matt Farrell, who has caused a team-best 18 turnovers. Rookie Chris Conlin follows with 15 caused turnovers. 
Dan O'Connell has picked up 79 faceoff wins for the Crusaders for a .648 winning percentage. 
• As a team, the Crusaders lead the Patriot League and rank seventh nationally in caused turnovers per game at 11.17. 
Jonathan Tesoro owns a .507 save percentage and an 11.02 goals against average through six games played in goal for the Crusaders.  
• Holy Cross is averaging 9.50 goals per game. 
Against the Rest
• Farrell and Conlin rank at the top of the nation in caused turnovers per game. Conlin ranks sixth nationally and first in the Patriot League. Farrell ranks third in the Patriot League. 
• O’Connell leads the League in ground balls per game (9.80) and fifth nationally. 
• At the faceoff, O’Connell ranks second in the Patriot League and 10th in the nation. 
• Checking in at 2.17 goals per game, both Mullaney and Kodzis rank 10th in the Patriot League. 
Scouting #18 Army
• The Black Knights travel to Worcester with a 5-2 record and 1-1 mark in league play. 
• In Patriot League action, Army defeated Lafayette, 12-5, and fell at Lehigh, 11-8. 
• The Black Knights average 10.71 goals per game and 8.00 goals against per game. 
• Army is led by Brendan Nichtern, who has recorded 30 points on 13 goals and 17 assists. 
• Miles Silva has recorded a team-best 17 goals. 
• Defensively, Johnny Surdick leads the Black Kights with 30 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. 
• Evan Condon has played in five games and taken 87 faceoffs for a .276 winning percentage and Ethan Barangan has won 28 of 45 faceoffs for a .622 winning percentage. 
• AJ Baretto has played all seven games in goal for Army, owning a .617 save percentage and a 7.95 goal against average. 
Last Time against Army
• Holy Cross trails in the all-time series, 1-27.
• The Crusaders held Army to just five goals in the teams’ 2018 meeting, but fell, 5-3.
Brad Baker and Kevin Kodzis recorded goals for the Crusaders in the outing.
