The Holy Cross men’s basketball team hits the road this weekend for a 12:00 p.m. game at Lafayette on Sunday, Feb. 10. The contest between the Crusaders and the Leopards will be shown live to a national audience on the CBS Sports Network, and can be heard live on WEEI 1440 AM in Worcester.

Holy Cross stands 13-11 overall this year with a 4-7 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders are coming off a 56-42 victory over Army on Wednesday night. Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League in scoring defense (67.7 points per game), assists (16.3 assists per game), turnover margin (+3.7 turnovers per game) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5-to-1).

Sophomore guard Jacob Grandison has led the team by averaging 14.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, while sophomore guard Austin Butler has added 13.2 points, 4.8 boards and 1.5 steals per contest. Sophomore forward Jehyve Floyd has put up 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.3 blocks per game, with sophomore guard Caleb Green posting 11.0 points, 3.3 assists and 2.9 boards per contest.

Lafayette stands 6-16 overall this year with a 3-8 mark in Patriot League play. The Leopards defeated Boston University 79-72 on Wednesday to snap a four-game losing streak.

Sophomore guard Alex Petrie has led the team by averaging 14.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game, while making 81.6 percent of his foul shots. Sophomore guard Justin Jaworski is also playing well this season, with averages of 13.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest. Lafayette is led by head coach Fran O’Hanlon, who stands 320-389 in 24 seasons with the Leopards.

After the contest at Lafayette, the Crusaders will return home to face Colgate at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
