The Holy Cross men’s track and field team will compete at Boston University’s David Hemery Valentine Invitational and the URI Coaches' Tribute on Saturday, February 9.

LAST TIME OUT:
- Holy Cross competed at the New England Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston on February 1 and 2. The Crusaders finished in 15th place. (Day One Recap | Day Two Recap)
- A pair of school records fell during the weekend, as senior Alexander Escada scored 4,629 points in the heptathlon to place fourth and sophomore Michael Pichay had a leap of 14.98 meters in the triple jump to place third.
- The Crusaders ran season-bests times in the 4x400 meter relay (3:23.38) and 4x800 meter relay (7:56.88).
LAST YEAR:
- At the 2018 Valentine Invite, Escada placed 11th in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 9.02 seconds.
- Now-sophomore Garrett Fortin placed 50th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.28 seconds, finishing just .01 seconds off the Holy Cross program record in the event.
