Women's Soccer Places 21 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s soccer team had 21 of its members named to the 2018 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league Wednesday. The 21 student-athletes increases last year’s number by seven after 14 Crusaders were honored in 2017.
To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of at least a 3.20.
Headlining the honorees is senior Emma Gurchiek who has been selected for the fourth time in her collegiate career.
Three-time selections include senior Lily Puccia, and juniors Samantha Peters, Kelly Crowley, Bridgette Dwyer, and Cassie Cheeseman. Sophomores Jenna Barnes, Mariah Brown, Elise Cobb, and Sydney Fisher have been selected for the second time.
The Crusaders have 11 student-athletes who are making their first appearance on the honor roll including seniors Ang Seslija and Cassie Symonds, juniors Lucy Acuña and Emma Sosinski, sophomores Belle Colaiezzi and Sophia Lettieri, and freshmen Cricket Basa, Paige Epp, Olivia Ferrara, Caroline Harkins, and Grace Keith.
