Men's cross country competes at IC4A Championships

The Holy Cross men’s cross country team rounded out its season at the IC4A Championships on Saturday, November 17, finishing in 15th place out of 18 teams in the Championship Race.

Senior Joseph Prunty was the top finisher for the Crusaders, running a time of 24:34 on the eight-kilometer course to place 75th. Freshman Corey Kumamoto was 86th, clocking in at 24:48. Junior Bobby Tuzzio ran a time of 25:02 to place 98th.

Rookie Joseph Leland was 104th with a time of 25:13; fellow freshman Andrew Corbett was 111th and ran a time of 25:24. Sophomore Joseph Doerr was 123rd, running 25:38.

Freshman Kane Breuer was 128th (25:47), followed closely by freshman Karter Seitz (132nd, 25:52) and senior Matthew Silas (133rd, 25:57). Junior Alex Campagna was 136th with a time of 26:01 to round out the Crusader showing in the Championship Race.

In the Coaches’ Race, sophomore Hayden Ivatts led the way with a time of 25:41 and a 30th-place finish. Junior Jackson Skelley was 54th, running 26:42. Juniors Luke Doughty (59th, 27:10) and Chris Shakespeare (62nd, 27:21) also competed for Holy Cross.
