Women's cross country competes at ECAC Championships
BRONX, New York -- The Holy Cross women’s cross country team competed at the ECAC Championships to round out its season on Saturday, November 17. The Crusaders finished in 12th place out of 18 teams in the Championship Race.
Freshman Michaela Halloran ran a time of 18:33 to finish 70th overall; sophomore Caitlin Tzimorotas was 82nd, completing the course in 18:43. Sophomore Elizabeth Graves was 87th in a time of 18:45, sophomore Alyson Walsh was close behind, running a time of 18:48.
Sophomore Claire Hanlon was 110th, clocking in at 19:07. Freshman Emily Foley ran a time of 19:13 to earn 115th place. Fellow rookie Katie Cass came in in 120th, running a time of 19:19. Junior Charlotte Kurzweil rounded out the Crusader contingent in the Championship Race, placing 132nd in a time of 19:49.
In the Coaches’ Race, sophomore Gabrielle Gioia led Holy Cross in 17th place and with a time of 19:18. Freshman Sophia Maynard was 25th (19:34); junior Allie Christian was 33rd (19:55). Sophomore Cricket Richter (36th, 20:01), senior Katherine Guilbo (37th, 20:02) and freshman Jacqueline Harrington (46th, 20:25) all finished in the top 50.
