Men's Soccer Defeated At Colgate
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s soccer team fell at Colgate, 2-0. The Crusaders move to 2-9-4 and 1-5-1 in Patriot League action and Colgate improves to 8-3-5 and 4-1-2 in the league.
The Crusaders and Raiders played to a scoreless first half as Henry Stutz made three saves and the Crusaders recorded four shots. Colgate added seven shots of their own.
In the second half, Colgate’s Ryan Bellavance scored in the 69th minute on the near post. Thirteen seconds later, Oliver Harris scored on a 25 yard shot to the upper right corner.
Stutz recorded one save in the second half.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Holy Cross was outshot, 15-7.
- The Crusaders had two corner kick opportunities to the Raiders’ eight.
Holy Cross returns home for their final regular season game at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium. The Crusaders take on Army at 3:05 p.m. on Oct. 28.
