Field Hockey Loses to Bucknell, 3-1, at Home

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross field hockey team fell, 3-1, to Bucknell Saturday afternoon at home.

The Crusaders got on the board first thanks to a goal by senior Suzanne Noone off of a pass from senior Emily Loprete to take the 1-0 lead in the 18th minute.

Holy Cross would hold on to that lead until the 33rd minute when Sarah Dimock evened things up for the Bison. The teams would go into the half tied at one.

Bucknell added two more goals in the second half and kept the Crusaders off the board to claim the 3-1 win.

Holy Cross will be back in action next Saturday in Turnpike Trophy action when the Crusaders travel to Boston University.
