Peter Cronin is in his first season as the volunteer assistant coach in the 2018-19 season. 

Cronin joins the Crusader staff after completing his playing career at Bowdoin. Cronin started 56 games as a Polar Bear, including 20-consecutive starts in the 2015-16 season. Cronin finished his career ranking second on the Polar Bear’s career save percentage record book. He also ranks fifth on the career save list at Bowdoin. Cronin was also the 2016 recipient of the Hugh Munro Jr. Award, given to the most valuable player as voted by the team.
