Men's tennis wraps play at Siena Invitational

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y – The Holy Cross men’s tennis team competed at the Siena Invitational over the weekend.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Freshman Will Kaiser made it to the semifinals of the B Singles bracket with 8-2 and 6-2, 6-4 wins in the first two rounds.
  • Freshman Connor Nelson also made it to the semifinals, but in the C Singles bracket with 8-2 and 6-2, 3-6, 10-2 victories in the first two rounds.
  • Also in C Singles, freshman Robert Hagan dropped his first match, but then won three in a row in the back draw.
  • In D Singles, junior Matt Fagan advanced to the quarterfinals with an 8-7(4) win.
  • Junior Matthew Slowinski and freshman Declan O’Flynn got to the quarterfinals of the C Doubles bracket with a 6-2 victory.

The Crusaders will compete at the Connecticut College Tournament Saturday, Sept. 14 in New London, Conn.
