HOW IT HAPPENED:

1-0 Army (2nd – 4:26, PP): Just above the crease, Army’s Dominic Franco backhanded a puck to sneak past Gordon after Colin Bilek redirected the puck from the high slot after Zach Evancho’s point shot.

1-1 HC (3rd - 7:16, EV): Catching Army in a change in the neutral zone Ryan Leibold battled for the puck at the Army blue line to force a turnover and send Kevin Darrar on his way. Darrar rushed up the slot and fed a trailing Logan Milliken on the far side of the ice. Milliken wristed the shot in on the near post from the top of the circle.

2-1 HC (3rd – 13:39, EV): Mitch Collett rushed the puck into the offensive zone and dropped a pass to Neil Robinson, who handed it off to Johnny Coughlin. The senior defenseman skated down the wall and took a low angle wrist shot to beat Army’s Trevin Kozlowski.

2-2 Army (3rd – 19:35, PP EA): On a six-on-four, Evancho one-timed a slap shot from the point through traffic after the Black Knights worked the puck around the offensive zone.
