Men's Swimming and Diving Defeats Manhattan

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s swimming and diving team defeated Manhattan College, 154-139, in a dual meet Saturday, Nov. 3 in Fairfield, Conn. The squad won eight events to claim the overall team win for its first of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Steve Tierney was part of four first place finishes, three individually and one as part of a relay. He swam a 1:48.96 to win the 200 free, a 47.10 to win the 100 free, a 52.66 to take the 100 fly, and a 1:29.13 along with Ben Fox, Kevin Lagasse, and Nathan Kramer to claim the 200 free relay victory.
  • Kramer also came in first in the 200 IM with a 2:04.11.
  • Fox took first in the 200 back as well with a 2:04.42.
  • Kaikea Wilinski won the 100 back with a time of 56.94.
  • Will Berlage came in first in the 200 fly in 2:15.52.

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will compete in the Harold Anderson Invitational from Nov. 16-18.
