Eight Crusader student-athletes were among a group of Holy Cross seniors who were selected as winners of 2019 Student Leadership Awards, as announced by the Office of Student Involvement. Seniors Caroline Body, Declan Cronin, Martin Dorsey, Jehyve Floyd, Tommy Nixon, Marcellis Perkins and Jerome Siangco were all honored, along with freshman Connor McNerney.
Eighteen College of the Holy Cross varsity athletic teams have received Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) public recognition awards from the NCAA. These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. Holy Cross finished in a four-way tie for first in the nation among all Division I athletic programs in the number of teams honored (18), matching the total of Brown, Columbia and Dartmouth.

Holy Cross' athletic teams are tied for eighth in the nation with an overall graduation rate of 98 percent, according to the Graduation Success Rate Report which has been released by the NCAA. This marks the 12th straight year in which the Crusaders have posted a Graduation Success Rate of at least 97 percent.

Freshman Joseph Leland finished 18th overall with a time of 26:36.1 on the eight-kilometer course, as the Holy Cross men's cross country team placed seventh at the Patriot League Championship. The Crusaders finished with a total of 210 points as a team, while Army West Point captured the team championship with 32 points. Kevin Murray of Navy won the individual title with a time of 25:27.5.
The Holy Cross men's and women's cross country teams will be competing in the 2018 Patriot League Championship this Saturday, Oct. 27, in Lewisburg, Pa. The women's championship will be contested over a six-kilometer course beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by the men's championship over an eight-kilometer course starting at 12:00 p.m.
Senior Joseph Prunty finished 33rd overall with a time of 15:46.9 on the five-kilometer course, as the Holy Cross men's cross country team placed 11th out of 12 schools at the Central Connecticut Mini Meet. The Crusaders finished with a total of 280 points as a team, while Providence captured the team title with 29 points. Leakey Kipkosgei of American International won the individual title with a time of 14:37.2.
Freshman Corey Kumamoto finished 65th overall with a time of 26:15.75 on the eight-kilometer course, as the Holy Cross men's cross country team placed 15th out of 26 schools at the New England Championship. The Crusaders finished with a total of 475 points as a team.
