Eighteen College of the Holy Cross varsity athletic teams have received Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) public recognition awards from the NCAA. These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. Holy Cross finished in a four-way tie for first in the nation among all Division I athletic programs in the number of teams honored (18), matching the total of Brown, Columbia and Dartmouth.
In the fall of 2019, the College of the Holy Cross will honor the 10th class in the Crusader Football Legends Ring of Honor. The class will be honored during a ceremony at Fitton Field with permanent recognition in the stadium. This year's Ring of Honor inductions will take place during the New Hampshire game on Sept. 7.

Senior wide receiver Martin Dorsey, a member of the football team, and senior defender Lily Puccia, a member of the women's soccer team, have been selected as the 2018-2019 winners of the Daniel Allen Sportsmanship Award. Presented by the Holy Cross Varsity Club, the Allen Award goes to the player whose unselfish teamwork and dedication to the good of the team reflect the values lived by coach Allen.
Fresh off its spring game on Saturday, the Holy Cross football team is geared up, dialed in and working tirelessly to prepare for the start of the 2019 campaign! The Crusaders are set to play five action-packed home games at Fitton Field this fall, as they look to compete for the Patriot League title in their second season under head coach Bob Chesney.
The offense posted a 42-31 victory over the defense as the Holy Cross football team played its annual spring game at Kuzniewski Field. Junior wide receiver Tenio Ayeni led the offense with three receptions for 76 yards and two touchdowns, while senior defensive back Macklin Kortebein posted an interception, two tackles and two pass breakups for the defense.

Six graduating seniors from the 2018 Holy Cross football team have been selected to the 2019 Hampshire Honor Society, as announced by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame. The team is comprised of graduating seniors from schools across the country who were starters or key reserves and maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20.
The Holy Cross football team has announced the dates for its 2019 Prospect Camps. Four different one-day camps will be held on June 20, June 21, June 26 and July 12.
Holy Cross head coach Bob Chesney has announced four additions to his football coaching staff for the 2019 season. Israel Abraham has been named the running backs coach, Casey DeAndrade will serve as the safeties coach, Todd Gilcrist takes over as the wide receivers coach and Mike Pucko will become the defensive line coach.
The Holy Cross football team will hold its second annual Coaches Clinic on Thursday, March 28. This clinic is open to any and all high school coaches in the area and is free of charge.
