Scoreboard: 11th of 23 at NCAA Northeast Regional, Bronx, N.Y., 11/22
- The Holy Cross women's cross country team completed the 2008 season at the ECAC Championship in Bronx, N.Y. on Saturday, Nov. 22. The Crusaders finished 11th out of 23 teams.
- At the ECAC Championship, freshman Paige Sutherland (Groveland, Mass.) led the Crusaders in the 5K run with a 14th place finish in 19:08. In the 2008 season, Sutherland was the top finisher for the Crusaders in five of seven races. She was honored by the Patriot League three times during the 2008 season. She was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week twice, Sept. 15-21 and Oct. 6-12, and the Patriot League Runner of the Week once, Oct. 6-12.
- 2008 top Holy Cross finishers include: Freshman Sarah Mellea (North Arlington, N.J.) at the New England Championships, finishing in 20th place with a season best time of 19:24, senior Alexandra Swiatocha (Mahopac, N.Y.) at the Murray Keatinge Invitational, crossing the line in 27th place with a season-best time of 18:45.69 and sophomore Jacqueline Imse (Simsbury, Conn.) at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational with a season-best time of 18:57.
- Senior Elizabeth Alizzi (Syosset, N.Y.) ran a season-best time of 19:29 at the New England Championship, senior Jeana Greco (Westfield, N.J.) ran a season-best time of 21:36 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational and senior Colleen Spilka (Hamden, Conn.) ran a season-best time of 19:01 at the Blue Devil Invitational.
