Worcester, Mass.- The Holy Cross women's cross country team placed 14 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office.
Leading the Crusaders was freshman Stephanie Stoneback (Voorhees, N.J.), who achieved a 3.94 grade-point average for the fall semester. Stoneback is a Biology major.
Joining Stoneback on the Academic Honor Roll were junior Elizabeth Alizzi (Syosset, N.Y.), senior Kristin Burke (Guilford, Conn.), freshman Rose Calvo (Rockey Hill, Conn.), sophomore Ariana Coniglio (Revere, Mass.), sophomore Meghan Dunne (Mendham, N.J.), freshman Allison Fimognari (Wilbraham, Mass.), freshman Jacqueline Imse (Simsbury, Conn.), sophomore Claire Luke (Delmar, N.Y.), senior Meghan Lytle (Lewiston, N.Y.), freshman Margaret Molloy (West Hartford, Conn.), freshman Emily Nassetta (New London, Conn.), junior Caitlin Paluilis (Pittsfield, Mass.), and freshman Suzanne Wallace (Shoreham, N.Y.).
A total of 85 student-athletes were named to the Women's Cross Country Academic Honor Roll. Bucknell led the Patriot League with 24 members. American and Holy Cross had 14 named to the list. Colgate and Navy had nine. Lehigh had seven, Lafayette five and Army three.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn at least a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
