BRONX, N.Y. – Seven members of the Holy Cross men's and women's cross country teams took part in the ECAC and IC4A Championships this morning at Van Cortlandt Park. Freshman Caroline Carley (Barrington, Ill.) led the women's team, finishing 34th of 177 runners with a time of 19:31.2 on the 5K course. Sophomore Matt Muilenburg (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) led the men's team with a time of 28:50.0 on a five-mile course.
On the women's side, freshman Katherine Holdridge (Preston, Conn.) finished behind Carley with a time of 20:45.7. Junior Kerry Dunne (Mendham, N.J.) and freshman Cassie Gildea (Milford, Conn.) rounded out the Holy Cross field with times of 22:39.8 and 29.32.0, respectively.
For the men, freshmen Jack Curran (Orchard Park, N.Y.) and Chris Conley (Walpole, Mass.) finished behind Muilenburg. Curran crossed the finish line with a time of 30:25.2 while Conley finished up at 30:33.1.
The 2012 men's and women's cross country seasons have come to an end.
