WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and Richard L. Ahern '51 Director of Cross Country, Track and Field Jim Kavanagh have announced the Holy Cross men's and women's cross country schedules for the 2012 season.
Both teams are set to compete in 11 meets this season. The Crusaders will kick off the season at the Harry Lang Invitational in Hamilton, N.Y. on Sept. 1, followed by the Nassaney Invitational (Sept. 8). Following the National Catholic Championship at Notre Dame (Sept. 14), the Crusaders will then compete in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational at North Dartmouth, Mass. (Sept. 15). Holy Cross concludes the month of September with the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh (Sept. 29).
The Crusaders return to action with the New England Championship in New Britain, Conn. (Oct. 7), with selected runners then taking part in the Pre-National Invitational at Indiana State (Oct. 13). Holy Cross will then head back to New Britain, Conn. for the Central Connecticut Mini Meet on Oct. 19. The Crusaders will then head to Hamilton, N.Y. for the Patriot League Championship on Oct. 27. Holy Cross' schedule ends with the NCAA Northeast Regional (Nov. 9) and the IC4A and ECAC Championships (Nov. 17).
