Women's Cross Country Places 15 On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – Fifteen members of the Holy Cross women's cross country team have been selected to the 2011 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office.

The Crusaders were represented by seniors Katelyn Andree (Colts Neck, N.J.), Elizabeth Humphries (Siler City, N.C.), Sarah Mellea (North Arlington, N.J.) and Paige Sutherland (Groveland, Mass.), sophomores Liz Crowley (Southborough, Mass.), Kerry Dunne (Mendham, N.J.), Beth Fullerton (Bradford, Mass.), Mary Fullerton (Bradford, Mass.), Emily Hughes (Milton, Mass.), Claire Madison (Edina, Minn.), Katherine Marrone (Bronxville, N.Y.), Sandra van den Heuvel (Nashua, N.H.) and Amanda Waldron (Walpole, Mass.) and freshmen Laura McBride (North Reading, Mass.) and Nicole Wiegman (Latham, N.Y.).

A total of 107 student-athletes from women's cross country teams around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester.
