BRONX, N.Y. – The Holy Cross women's cross country team wrapped up the 2010 season with an 11th place finish at the ECAC Championship in Bronx, N.Y. Saturday afternoon. Albany took home the team title, while Sacred Heart's Kimberly DeLoreto won the individual championship.
Holy Cross was led by freshman Emily Hughes (Milton, Mass.) with an 18th place finish and time of 18:55.5. Fellow freshman Beth Fullerton (Bradford, Mass.) was the next Crusader to cross the line, finishing in 52nd place with a time of 19:35.6. Junior Katelyn Andree (Colts Neck, N.J.) finished 78th just over the 20 minute mark at 20:01.7, followed by freshman Mary Fullerton (Bradford, Mass.) in 84th place with a time of 20:06.1. Finishing in the 21st minute was freshman Vicki Tiedeman (Bay Shore, N.Y.) with a time of 21:12.2 and sophomore Katie Rochford (Red Bank, N.J.) with a time of 21:41.4. Rounding out the racers for Holy Cross was freshman Kerry Dunne (Mendham, N.J.) with a time of 22:01.8, freshman Katherine Marrone (Bronxville, N.Y.) with a time of 22:09.7 and sophomore Emma Healy (Newark, Del.) with a time of 22:22.6.
The Holy Cross women's cross country team has concluded the 2010 season. The women's track and field team kicks off the indoor season on Dec. 3-4.
