New Britain, Conn. – The Holy Cross women's cross country team raced at the Blue Devil Invitational in New Britain, Conn. Saturday afternoon, finishing 10th in the team competition. Providence finished first, while Quinnipiac finished second and UConn took third.
Freshman Liz Crowley (Longmeadow, Mass.) led the Crusaders with a 43rd place finish with a time of 19:40. Freshman Beth Fullerton (Bradford, Mass.) finished 53rd with a time of 20:09, freshman Allie Hunter (Medfield, Mass.) placed 54th with a time of 20:21 and junior Katelyn Andree (Colts Neck, N.J.) finished 56th with a time of 20:29. Freshman Vicki Tiedemann (Bay Shore, N.Y.) rounded out the top five for Holy Cross with a 57th place finish and time of 20:32.
Holy Cross continues competition at the National Catholic Championship on Sept. 17 and the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 18.
