Christian Franklin Named Assistant Volleyball Coach

WORCESTER, Mass. - The College of the Holy Cross has named Christian Franklin as an assistant volleyball coach, as announced by head coach Marritt Cafarchia and athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr.

Franklin brings three years of head coaching experience to the Crusader program. In 1998 and 1999, he was the head coach at Becker College, while he was also the head coach at Assumption College in 2000 as his team went 14-13. Franklin is a Straight Down Volleyball Club Officer and a certified volleyball referee in the New England region.

A 1992 graduate of Evergreen H.S. in Evergreen, Colo., Franklin went onto graduate from Dartmouth in 1996. In 2001, he earned a graduate certificate in UNIX Systems/C/C++ Programming from WPI Southborough.
