Amy Vos is in her second season as an assistant volleyball coach at Holy Cross in 2012.

Vos, who was a four-year member of the volleyball team at Iowa State as a defensive specialist, played a key role in the Crusaders’ defensive success in 2011 as the Crusaders ranked third in the Patriot League with 14.84 digs per set.
As a senior in the 2008 season at Iowa State, the Cyclones made it to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. Vos recorded 12 digs and three assists in the NCAA Regional semifinal win over No. 7 Oregon. During her junior season, she posted a career-best 303 digs as Iowa State went to the NCAA Tournament Regional semifinals. For her career she tallied 540 digs and 39 service aces. Vos was also outstanding in the classroom as she earned 2007 second team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District accolades and first team 2007 and 2008 All-Academic Big 12 honors. Vos was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, volunteered for the Special Olympics as a volleyball coach and coached at the Iowa State summer camps.  
A native of Burlington, Wis., Vos led Westosha Central High School to state titles as a junior and senior. She was named the Lakeshore Conference Player of the Year as a senior.
Vos earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Iowa State in 2009 and a master’s degree in nutrition from Boston University in 2011.
