Corrinne Archibald is in her first season as an assistant volleyball coach at Holy Cross in 2013. Archibald was a volunteer assistant coach for the Crusaders during the 2012 season.
Archibald has helped educate Holy Cross’ setters on offensive strategy in both a team and individual settings as a volunteer assistant coach. She led drills that included both basic skills and advanced skills, ultimately helping to enhance the setters’ levels of play and benefit the team as a whole.
Archibald was a four-year member of the volleyball team at the University of Northern Colorado. In 2004 as a junior, Archibald earned Division I Independent Setter of the Year accolades, in addition to being named to the Division I All-Independent first team and earning the title of Division I Independent Setter of the Week six times. As a senior in the 2005 season, Archibald led her team as captain. The same year she was also named Northern Colorado’s Female Athlete of the Year, was featured as Division I’s Independent Setter of the Week for two consecutive weeks and was named to the Division I All-Independent first team for the second time. She posted 2,927 career assists and 171 total blocks. Archibald also worked as a coach and camp leader at Northern Colorado’s volleyball camp in 2004 where she coached a group of girls aged 12-14 to the finals in the camp tournament.
Archibald, who is a clinical dietitian and a sports nutrition educator, earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Northern Colorado in 2006.
