Tonight the Crusaders held "Professor Appreciation Night." Each member of the team invited a professor to attend the match. The team implemented this new tradition in order to recognize the superior work of these educators in forming connections with their students.

Callie Black on Father John Gavin: I have learned so much about topics that I thought I was well-versed in while taking Father Gavin's class. He has the ability to relate to his students that makes class material relevant to each and every one of our lives. I am so glad that I have had the opportunity to be in his class!

Megan Lynch on Professor Alison Ludden: I picked Professor Ludden because she is such a passionate and inspiring teacher. She engages the class in talking about prevalent and interesting topics that have helped me broaden my perspective. I'd definitely recommend taking her!

Alicia Swearingen on Professor Thomas Gottschang: I chose Professor Gottschang because he is a good teacher with a sense of humor, and I really enjoyed learning about Disaster Economics with him because it was a subject I wouldn't usually take a course in. He was always helpful in office hours and is very nice and caring toward all his students!

Mary-Kate Short on Professor Joseph Lawrence: Professor Lawrence is one of my favorite professors on campus. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to take a class with him but as my academic advisor, he has been a huge help to me. Thank you, Professor Lawrence, for helping me start to figure out where I want to go in life.

Julia Gould on Professor Steven Levandosky: Professor Levandosky is a great professor because he is very approachable. I always felt comfortable asking him for help with any math problem. He is a great teacher and I loved having him as my Calculus 1 and 2 professor.

Dana Weston on Father Edward Vodoklys: Father V was my Montserrat professor last year. From day one in his class I knew that I was going to love him as a teacher. Father V is a brilliant professor who loves what he teaches and cares greatly about each and every one of his students. Always knowing that I may run into him around campus is also such a treat. Thank you Father V for helping me start my college career and for all you do for your students!
