Crusaders Compete At Brown Invitational

Providence, R.I. - The Holy Cross women's track and field team competed at the Brown Springtime Invitational on Sunday.

Leading the Crusaders was newcomer Kathleen O'Gorman (West Hartford, Conn.) with a first-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The freshman finished 54 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher with a time of 12 minutes and 55.97 seconds.

In the 800-m, senior Lindsey Bomar (Bristol, Conn.) finished fourth with a time of 2:18.46, while classmate Erin Moseley (Carlisle, Mass.) placed sixth in the 5,000-m with a time of 18:59.75.

Sophomore Kerilyn Anderson (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) came in fifth in the long jump, leaping 4.92-m. Senior Elizabeth Corridan (Holliston, Mass.) placed 14th out of 62 in the 1,500-m with a time of 4:56.0. Also running in the event was Moseley, who placed 19th with a time of 4:58.4.

Freshman Amanda Dupuis (East Sandwich, Mass.) ran the 100-m hurdles in a time of 17.2 to place seventh, while Anderson tied for ninth with a time of 17.6. In the 400-m hurdles, freshmen Jillian Edmunds (Salem, N.H.) and Caitlin Moore (Bedford, N.H.) finished seventh with a time of 1:09.99 and ninth with a time of 1:11.21, respectively.

The Crusaders next compete at the Patriot League Championship, Friday-Saturday, May 6-7 in Easton, Pa.
