DURHAM, N.H. - Senior Dannielle Meder (Chicopee, Mass.) finished first in the 55 meter hurdles as the Holy Cross women's track and field team took second against New Hampshire and Quinnipiac Saturday in Durham, N.H. The Crusaders scored 73 points, while New Hampshire took first with 92 and Quinnipiac took third with nine.
Meder led the Crusaders with a first place finish in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.64 seconds and junior Olivia Pruszko (Monroe, Conn.) finished first in the 500 meter run in 1:20.80. Junior Maureen Meagher (Allentown, Pa.) took first in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:22.55, while freshman Katelyn Hartnett (Danvers, Mass.) finished first in the 1000-meter run in 3:05.03.
Freshman Alexandria Culkeen (Beverly, Mass.) led the Crusaders in the field events with a first place finish in the shot put with a throw of 12.15 meters.
Holy Cross continues action on Friday, Jan. 23, at the Terrier Invitational in Boston, Mass. at 2:00 p.m.
