2012: Ran in the 55, 60, 100, 55 hurdles, 60 hurdles and 100 hurdles…posted season-best times in the 55 (7.60) and 55 hurdles (9.03) at the Alden Invitational (Dec. 3), 100 (13.23) and 100 hurdles (15.96) at the Holy Cross Invitational (April 21), 60 (8.55) at the Harvard Open (Dec. 10) and 60 hurdles (9.56) at the Patriot League Indoor Championship (Feb. 17).

Before Holy Cross: Member of the varsity track & field team for six seasons at Colonie Central High School for coach Jennifer Jette…named the team’s Most Valuable Hurdler from 2008-2011…Section 2 Champion in the 100 meter hurdles in 2011…team won the 2011 Section 2 championship…set the school record in the 100 meter hurdles with a 14.8 in 2010 and set her personal best with a 14.56 in 2011…also a three-year member of the varsity soccer team…captain as a junior and senior…earned 2010 second team Suburban Council All-Star honors…two-year member and senior captain of the varsity basketball team…team won the 2011 Suburban Council South Division championship and placed second in the 2011 Suburban Council Class AA Championship…earned the school’s Scholar Athlete Award all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Corrado and Ellen Sainato…has one brother (Giancarlo) and two sisters (Nancy and Isabella)…has not yet declared a major.
