2012: Ran in the one-mile, 3,000 and 5,000…posted career-best times in all three events including the one-mile (5:17.29) at the Joe Donahue Indoor Games (Jan. 27), 3,000 (10:19.71) versus New Hampshire and Maine (April 7) and 5,000 (17.55.05) at the New England Outdoor Championship (May 10)…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2011: Ran in the 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and one mile…recorded a season-best in the one mile with a time of 5:31.65 at the Boston Indoor Games (Jan. 28)…finished in first place at the New England Indoor Championship (Feb. 25) in the 3,000 with a time of 10:32.14…ran a season-best 17:58.87 in the 5,000, finishing in ninth place at the New England Outdoor Championship (May 13)…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Holy Cross: Member of the varsity cross country team at Milton H.S...team captain in 2009...named Most Valuable Senior...Bay State All-Star in 2008 and 2009...named to the Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic team in 2008 and 2009...team won the Bay State championship in 2008 and 2009...also a member of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams...team captain for both teams senior year...named a Bay State All-Star in 2009 and 2010...named to National Honor Society...member of the Key Club.

Personal: Daughter of Paul and Jennifer Hughes...has one brother (Chris) and one sister (Jessica)...majoring in Sociology...also a member of the Holy Cross cross country team.
