2012: Ran in the one-mile, 800, 1,000, 1,500, 3,000 steeplechase and 4x400, 4x800 and 4,000 distance medley relays…posted season-best times in the 1,000 (2:55.31) at the New England Indoor Championship (Feb. 24) and in the one-mile (5:08.40) at the Alden Invitational (Dec. 3)…also set career-best marks in the 800 (2:17.68) against Maine (Feb. 4) and in the 3,000 steeplechase (11:26.84) at the Holy Cross Invitational (April 21) where she finished first overall and set a new school record in the process…member of the 4x800 relay team that ran a season-best time of 8:57.38 at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (May 5)…earned second team All-Patriot League honors for three events including the 1,000 (2:56.73) and as a member of the 4x800 relay team (9:00.43) and distance medley relay team (12:02.32) at the Patriot League Indoor Championship…named AT&T Crusader of the week (April 23)named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2011: Ran in the one mile, 800, 1,000, 1,500 and 4x800 meter relay…ran a career-best one mile time of 5:11.69 at the URI Sorlien Memorial (Jan.14)…first place finish at New Hampshire in the one mile (Jan. 22)…finished in third place in the 1,000 at the Patriot League Indoor Championship with a time of 2:54.73…the 4x800 relay team finished second in the Patriot League Indoor Championship (Feb. 20)…part of the first place 4x800 meter relay team at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (May 7)…earned first team All-Patriot League in the Outdoor Patriot League Championship (4x800 relay) and second team All-Patriot League in the Indoor Patriot League Championship (4x800 relay).

2010: Competed in the 200, 400, 500, 800 and high jump...finished second overall with a season-best height of 1.52 meters in the high jump in the dual meet against Maine..finished 13th in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:19.41 at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship...finished with a season-best time of 1:00.52 in the 400 at the New England Indoor Championship...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity outdoor track and field team at Quabbin Regional H.S...team captain in 2008 and 2009...named Rookie of the Year in 2006...MVP in 2007, 2008 and 2009...Mid Wach B League All-Star in high jump in 2007, 2008, and 2009...named a Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team All-Star in 2007...Gardner News All-Star in 2007 and 2008...2007 Central Mass. high jump champion...three-year member of the varsity indoor track and field team...team captain junior and senior years...team MVP in 2007, 2008 and 2009...league champion in high jump 2007 and 2008...also a three-year member of the soccer team...member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Kenneth and Clare Brekka...has two brothers (William and Patrick)...William (class of 2011) was a member of the 2007-2008 Holy Cross rowing team...majoring in English.
