Erin Linnehan Named To Academic All-Patriot League Team

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Holy Cross senior Erin Linnehan (Litchfield, N.H.) has earned one of 10 spots on the women's indoor track and field Academic All-Patriot League team, as voted on by the Patriot League's track and field sports information directors. To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport.

Linnehan, a Political Science major, holds a 3.45 cumulative grade point average. She is a three-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. At the 2012 Patriot League Indoor Championship, Linnehan won the 60-meter hurdles with a school record time of 8.83 seconds. The following weekend at the New England Championship, Linnehan tied that record time of 8.83 seconds and finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles.

Qualifying members of the women's track & field team will wrap up the 2012 indoor season at the ECAC Championship on March 3-4 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Mass.
