WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore Stephanie Okpoebo (Chelmsford, Mass.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 23-29. Okpoebo helped lead the Holy Cross women's indoor track and field team to a fifth-place finish at last weekend's Joe Donahue Indoor Games.
In last Friday's meet, Okpoebo won the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.24 seconds. With that mark she tied the school record in the event, which she had set herself just six days earlier at New Hampshire. Okpoebo also earned a third place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.22 seconds
The Crusaders return to action this Saturday, Feb. 4, when they travel to Maine for a dual meet.
