Crusaders Set To Compete At Joe Donahue Indoor Games

  • The Crusaders will travel to the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury, Mass. on Friday, Jan. 27 to compete in the Joe Donahue Indoor Games. In last year's event, Holy Cross placed 11th out of 17 teams.
  • The Holy Cross women's track and field team finished first overall with 172.5 points at New Hampshire on Saturday, Jan. 21. Sophomore Stephanie Okpoebo (Chelmsford, Mass.) led the way for the Crusaders breaking a school record in the 55 with a time of 7.24 seconds. Freshman Fiorella Johnson (Redding, Conn.) and senior Erin Linnehan (Litchfield, N.H) also recorded first place finishes in the 500 and 55 hurdles, respectively.
  • Senior Alexandria Culkeen (Beverly, Mass.) led the way in the throwing events for the Crusaders. Culkeen finished first in the shot put with a distance of 12.18 meters and a third in the weight throw with a distance of 15.04 meters.
