DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Katelyn Andree (Colts Neck, N.J.) finished third in the steeple chase with a time of 12:32.07 to lead the Holy Cross men's and women's track and field team t the New Hampshire Invitational in Durham, N.H. Saturday afternoon. Freshman Ross Davies (Salem, N.H.) was a top finisher for the men's team, placing fifth in the 200 with a time of 22.88 seconds and sixth in the 100 with a time of 11.35 seconds.
Freshman Emily Hughes (Milton, Mass.) placed seventh in the 5,000 with a time of 18:13.77, while sophomore Lizzie Harkins (Latrobe, Pa.) placed seventh in the 800 with a time of 2:23.87. Freshman Christy Manning (Scarborough, Maine) placed fifth in the discus with a distance of 35.02 meters, seventh in the hammer throw with a distance of 39.13 meters and sixth in the javelin with a distance of 35.73 meters. Cassie Canastra (Rochester, Mass.) finished third in the shot put with a distance of 10.67 meters.
Freshman Tim Moczula (Edison, N.J.) placed fifth in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.14 seconds, freshman Dylan Villescas (Las Cruces, N.M.) placed fifth in the steeple chase with a time of 10:10.13 and freshman Tom Santa Maria (Winchester, Mass.) placed eighth in the 800 with a time of 2:04.92. Senior Connor LaClair (Hyde Park, Vt.) finished 10th in the 400 with a time of 52.43 seconds.
The Crusaders will continue action next week at the Minuteman Invitational hosted by UMass-Amherst on April 16 at 11:30 a.m.
