- Qualifying members of the Holy Cross women's track and field team will continue its indoor season at the New England Indoor Championship hosted by Boston University this weekend.
- Last season at the 2010 New England Championship, the Crusaders finished 12th out of 34 teams. The Crusaders were led by junior Katelyn Hartnett (Danvers, Mass.) who finished fourth in the 1,000, setting a new school record.
- Last weekend at the 2011 Patriot League Championship, Holy Cross freshman Stephanie Okpoebo (Chelmsford, Mass.) won the 200 with a time of 25.32 seconds, to earn a place on the All-Patriot League first team. Okpoebo's first place finish continues the Crusader's dominance in the 200, as former Crusader Tiffany Reid won the event in 2010.
- Hartnett finished second in the 800 re-breaking her school record and posting an ECAC qualifying time of 2:12.32, earning her a spot on the All-Patriot League second team. This is Hartnett's third time earning All-Patriot League honors, as she secured a spot on the All-Patriot League second team at the 2010 Patriot League Outdoor Championship and Indoor Championship.
