PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior sprinter Tiffany Reid (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) raced in the 100 and 200 to lead the Holy Cross women's track and field team in the second day of action at the ECAC Championship on Saturday, May 15. Reid finished with a time of 11.92 seconds in the preliminary round of the 100 to qualify for the semifinals. In the semifinals, Reid failed to qualify for the finals, finishing with a time of 12.27 seconds. In the 200 prelims, Reid finished with a time of 24.50 seconds.
Holy Cross' 4x100 relay team of junior M. Siobhan Straub (Mattituck, N.Y.), freshman Melanie Forte (Milford, N.H.), junior Caitlin White (Miller Place, N.Y.) and Reid finished with a time of 48.40 seconds. The 4x800, ran by junior Cassandra Anderson (Saugus, Mass.), senior Olivia Pruszko (Monroe, Conn.), junior Courtney Burgess (Dracut, Mass.) and sophomore Katelyn Hartnett (Danvers, Mass.), finished with a time of 9:06.52, while the 4x400, ran by freshman Brittany Gorski (Tewksbury, Mass.), Reid, freshman Kathleen Brekka (Hubbardston, Mass.) and sophomore Jillian Crowley (Boxborough, Mass.), finished with a time of 3:59.86.
The Crusaders have concluded the 2010 season.
