DURHAM, N.C. – Senior Tiffany Reid (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) placed fourth in the 100 meter dash, narrowly missing the school record to lead the Holy Cross women’s track and field team at the Duke Invitational Saturday afternoon in Durham, N.C. Reid finished with a time of 11.99 seconds, just off her school record time of 11.84 seconds. Reid finished seventh in the 200 with a time of 24.59 seconds, missing the school record by just over three tenths of a second.
Sophomore Erin Linnehan (Litchfield, N.H.) finished ninth in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.66 second and in the field events, sophomore Alexandria Culkeen (Beverly, Mass.) placed 12th in the discus with a distance of 36.49 meters.
The Crusaders return to central Massachusetts for the UMass Invitational on Saturday, April 10, starting at 11:30 a.m.
