WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore Katelyn Hartnett (Danvers, Mass.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 25-31. Hartnett helped lead the Holy Cross women's track and field team to a ninth place finish at the 2010 Boston Indoor Games.
At the Boston Indoor Games, Hartnett captured first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.13. Her time qualified her for the 2010 New England Indoor Championship in the 800-meter run, and is also the fastest time by any runner in the Patriot League so far this season.
In her last three races, at either 800 meters or 1,000 meters, Hartnett now has two first place finishes and a second place finish.
Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 6, when it takes part in the Maine Open, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
