- The Holy Cross women's track and field team continues competition at the Boston Indoor Games at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. on Jan. 29. Last season the Crusaders finished eighth out of 13 teams at the event.
- At the 2009 Indoor Games, Holy Cross was led by senior Olivia Pruszko's (Monroe, Conn.) fifth place finish in the high jump with a jump of 1.53 meters, sophomore Alexandria Culkeen's (Beverly, Mass.) sixth place finish in the shot put with a throw of 12.27 meters and sophomore Paige Sutherland's (Groveland, Mass.) fourth place finish in the 3,000 with a time of 10:17.73.
- Against New Hampshire, senior Tiffany Reid (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) finished first in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.34 seconds and then finished first in the 200 with a time of 26.81 seconds. Reid is running fast so far this season, as she reset her own school record in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.27 on Dec. 5 and then was .05 seconds off the record on Jan. 15 and .07 seconds off last weekend.
- Last weekend, Holy Cross swept the shot put with Culkeen taking first with a distance of 11.81 meters. Senior Rachel Amaral (Raynham, Mass.) took second with a distance of 11.27 meters and freshman Nicole Hanlon (Lynn, Mass.) placed third with a distance of 10.65 meters.
