- The Holy Cross women's track and field team continues indoor action over winter break at the Boston University Mini Meet series on Dec. 19, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 in Boston, Mass.
- At last year's miniseries, senior Olivia Prusko's (Monroe, Conn.) ran the 200 in a time of 26.64 seconds and finished with a time of 58.79 seconds in the 400. Junior Cassandra Anderson (Saugus, Mass.) completed the 200 with a time of 27.10 and the 400 with a time of 1:01.00. Sophomore Katelyn Hartnett (Danvers, Mass.), junior Courtney Burgess (Dracut, Mass.), sophomore Kara Brownell (Cherry Valley, Mass.) and senior Caitlin Murphy (Hudson, Mass.) each competed in the one mile, Hartnett finishing with a time of 5:25.75, Burgess with a time of 5:28.95, Brownell with a time of 6:04.93 and Murphy with a time of 6:16.59. Anderson completed the 800 with a time of 2:23.76, while Hartnett finished with a time of 2:24.34 and Murphy with a time of 2:38.58.
- Sophomores Erin Linnehan (Litchfield, N.H.) and Hartnett each had top three finishes at the Harvard Open on Saturday, Dec. 12. Linnehan finished in third place in the 60 meter hurdles with a team-best time of 9.28 seconds, while Hartnett took third in the 800 with a top team time of 2:21.07. Sophomore Jillian Crowley (Boxborough, Mass.) finished with a season-best time of 27.99 seconds in the 200 and a season-best time of 1:03.01 in the 400.
- Last week, senior Tiffany Reid (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) was named the Patriot League/M-F Athletic Female Track Athlete of the Week for her performances at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 5. This was the second time that Reid has been named Athlete of the Week. At the Alden Invitational, Reid reset her own school record in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.27 seconds, finishing in first place. Reid then broke the school record in the 300 meter dash with a time of 41.03 seconds, finishing in third place.
