Holy Cross Competes In Day One Of ECAC Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Sarah Croteau (Westminster, Mass.) placed 15th in the 10,000-meter run, as the Holy Cross men's and women's track and field teams took part in the opening day of the 2009 ECAC and IC4A Championships, held at the William Weaver Track & Field Stadium. Croteau finished in a time of 38:19.87 in the ECAC women's 10,000-meter run. The Holy Cross women have not yet scored any points through three events. The Crusader men stand in 11th place as a team with five total points through four events.

Senior Brad Mish (Hadley, Mass.) placed fourth in the IC4A men's 10,000-meter run, finishing in a time of 30:25.99. Freshman Cory Loftis (Branford, Conn.) also ran in the IC4A men's 10,000-meter run, placing 23rd in a time of 32:32.25.

The ECAC and IC4A Championships continue on Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17.
