Crusaders To Play 3 Matches At The Holy Cross Tennis Courts

Saturday, April 18 vs. Salve Regina, 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 19 vs. Smith, 1:00 p.m.

  • The Crusaders will play three matches at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts this week. On April 15, Holy Cross will meet Providence at 3:30 p.m., on April 18, the Crusaders will play Salve Regina at 1:00 p.m. and on April 19, Holy Cross will play Smith at 1:00 p.m.

  • The Crusaders did not play a match last week as the match with Wesleyan scheduled for April 8 was canceled due to inclement weather.

  • Holy Cross fell to Providence, 4-3, earlier this season on Sept. 24.

  • Last season, the Crusaders defeated Salve Regina, 8-1, and Smith, 6-3.

  • Holy Cross has five players with at least a .500 record in singles competition as freshman Carolyn Chandley (Worcester, Mass.) is 12-8, junior Ivette Konopka (Shelton, Conn.) is 10-6, junior Kathryn Wilkie (Oak Brook, Ill.) is 6-2, freshman Emily Marr (Holden, Mass.) is 11-8 and junior Kristen Meahl (Falmouth, Maine) is 11-11.

  • The Crusaders are 5-2 this season at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts.
