Women's Tennis Plays Well at Siena Doubles Tournament

Loudonville, N.Y. - The combination of Meredith Bacon (Hanover, N.H.) and Margaret Moran (Concord, N.H.) went 3-1 in their doubles matches defeating Colgate, Niagara, and Rider and helped the Crusader women win two flights in the Siena Doubles Tournament.

Carrie Simmons (Raynham, Mass.) and Kerry Trimmer (Spring Lake, N.J) went 2-2 on the day. Also, Amy Garrity (Poughkepsie, N.Y.) and Katie Irwin (Franklin Lakes, N.J) had a 2-2 record overall. Both Crusader doubles teams won matched over Niagara and Rider.

The next match for the women is home on Sunday, September 18 against Connecticut College at 11 a.m.
