Holy Cross/Siena Match Stopped Due To Rain

Loudonville, N.Y. - The Holy Cross women's tennis match against Siena College was suspended on Wednesday afternoon due to rain. The Saints had a 3-2 advantage at the time the match was called.

Sophomore Kerry Trimmer (Spring Lake, N.J.) won the no. 1 singles match for Holy Cross, which was the only singles victory for the Crusaders. Trimmer then paired with junior Carrie Simmons (Raynham, Mass.) to win the no. 1 doubles match, 8-6. Sophomore Meredith Bacon (Hanover, N.H.) and freshman Margaret Moran (Concord, N.H.) won the no. 3 doubles match, 8-4.

The Crusaders finish their Spring season with a 4-8 overall record.
